Step into the club any weekday afternoon between 4 and 6, and you probably won't find anyone watching the financial news.

But you will find a bevy of energetic young tennis players: in clinics and private lessons on the courts, and a few in the snack bar, refueling between school and tennis or tennis and homework.

All told, more than 250 children and teens call Frontenac their tennis home. In clinics and lessons, it's all about the strokes. Because now is the time to develop proper form, to build their games for a lifetime of injury-free fun and fitness.

Of course, this is Frontenac, so it's about fun, too, with level-appropriate matches, weekend parties, novice events and citywide tournaments.

Kids in the first session's clinics have priority for the next session.

If your child hasn't been involved in the first half, s/he needs a second-half, pro-rated memberships at $75 plus tax.
