Maria Steinbach
One of the top women players our area has produced, Maria has been at Frontenac since 1980 and is a member of the St. Louis Tennis Hall of Fame.
As a junior player, she was ranked as high as seventh in the world, reaching the finals of both the Junior French Open and the Junior U.S. Open. She also played at Wimbledon. As a college player at Brigham Young University in Utah, Maria was All-American in 1978 and 1979.
At Frontenac, Maria runs the men's and women's Play with the Pros programs. She and her husband, Tyler, have three kids.
